Our laboratory provides asbestos testing, lead testing, PAH analysis, PFAS testing and soil and excavated material analysis. BJL Laboratoires also provides custom chemical analysis, analytical method development and analytical consulting services, as well as particle, dust and deposit identification by TEM-EDX. PFAS Laboratory Testing

BJL Laboratoires provides laboratory services for the analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Testing is available for drinking water, environmental water, process water and industrial effluents.

Our laboratory supports industrial companies, local authorities, engineering consultancies and environmental professionals in defining the analytical programme, including the matrix, target compounds, limits of quantification, sampling containers and shipping conditions.

Soil, Excavated Material and ISDI Package Analysis

BJL Laboratoires provides characterisation of soils, excavated materials and construction spoil, including analyses required to assess compliance with French ISDI acceptance criteria.

The ISDI Package includes leaching tests and analyses for metals, PAHs, hydrocarbons, PCBs, BTEX and other regulatory parameters.

How Do I Submit a Sample for Analysis?

Before sending a sample, contact BJL Laboratoires to confirm the required sample quantity, packaging, any sampling precautions and the expected analytical turnaround time.

For a specific request, please provide, where possible, the matrix, the compound or element of interest, the approximate expected concentration and the purpose of the analysis.

For a particle, dust, deposit or particulate contamination, please also indicate its origin, the circumstances in which it appeared and any suspected sources. Comparison samples may also be useful.

Samples can be delivered directly to our laboratory in Sèvres or shipped from anywhere in France. For international shipments, please contact us beforehand so that shipping conditions can be confirmed.
